Roteck offers outstanding quality walk through metal detectors. We have specially developed options that ensure top to bottom security. Because of an add-on sensor the “kick-through” scenario is eliminated. This happens when someone kicks a metal object ahead of them through the detector, without setting it off.

We noticed that security personnel and guards operating on equipment like walk through metal detectors have problems to designate activated zones, indicated on the equipment’s top or side panels, to people passing for clearing search with a hand held detector. The confusion is getting worse with the evolving number of zones.
Our solution to this problem is Zone Projection. Zone projection beams a red dot from a side position towards the person passing, giving a straight indication of thread location which is much easier to recognize and designate to certain body areas. The external pole can also integrate a camera on top which is the ideal height for face recognition and evidence recording. Zone Projection is available to the entire Roteck detector range from 6-24 zones.
